Nursery

Beginning in September we are offering a nursery during Sunday School time as well as during worship, so that parents can fully participate in Sunday School and worship. The children enjoy playing together and the socialization is an extra benefit. Jean Gilmore is taking the lead during Sunday School time, and is joined with several other volunteers to provide loving care for our youngest children.

Early Elementary (pre-kindergarten to grade 1)

This active class is busy learning about creation and that people are special. God made each of us unique but gave us all the same job - to love and care for each other and our world. Teachers are Theresa Pelser, Thea McAdams and Janell Nicholas.

Older Elementary (grades 2 to 5)

This group is busy and energetic! We are using the curriculum “Rock Solid--Building a heart of faith.” We have been learning how the Bible is God’s word. It is great fun working with these youngsters who are so anxious to learn new things. Our teacher is Vi MacTavish with alternate Carole Craig

Tweens and Teens (middle school and high school)

The Tweens and Teens class is having a great time! We're starting with a special activity so our students are finding they want to be there by 9:30A.M. so they don't miss it! The class is studying what it means to be a part of God's family and building a heart of faith. Teachers are Joanie Calhoun and Shari Rydlewski.

Adult Bible Study

This group reads through the Bible and discusses how it speaks to us. This fall we are reading the book of James. None of us have all the answers, but together we come to new insights. No experience in reading the Bible is needed to join this group. Marjorie Smith leads this study.
